Cookie Policy
Cookies,
explained
Here’s what our website stores on your device, why, and how to change your mind at any time.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your computer, tablet or phone when you visit. They let the site remember things, such as the choices you’ve made about cookies, and help it work properly and securely.
Some websites also use similar technologies, such as local storage in your browser. In this policy we call all of these “cookies”.
How we use cookies
We use a small number of cookies. They fall into these groups:
- Functional: needed for the website to work and to keep it secure, such as remembering your cookie choices and protecting our contact form from spam. These are always on.
- Analytics: help us understand how visitors use the website, such as which pages are most popular, so we can improve it. The information is collected in a way that does not directly identify you.
- Marketing: we do not use any cookies for marketing. This group is only for cookies set by other companies whose services appear on our pages, such as Google Maps. Google may use them for its own purposes, including personalising adverts on other websites. We don’t receive or use any of this information.
We only use analytics cookies, and only load services such as Google Maps, if you allow them. When you first visit, a banner lets you accept all cookies, reject them, or choose which ones you’re happy with. Rejecting them is as easy as accepting them, and the website works either way.
As an organisation, we do not use cookies for marketing or advertising, and we never use them to collect medical information about you or your child.
The cookies we use
This list is kept up to date automatically, and shows each cookie, who sets it, what it does and how long it lasts.
Third-party services
Some cookies are set by other companies whose services we use. They control those cookies, and their own privacy policies explain how they use the information:
- Google Analytics (Google), for visitor statistics: Google Privacy Policy
- Google Maps (Google), for the maps showing where clinics take place: Google Privacy Policy
- Cloudflare, which protects the website and our contact form from spam and malicious traffic: Cloudflare Privacy Policy
Until you allow Google Maps, each map shows a message instead, with a button to load it.
Some of these companies may process information outside the UK. Where they do, they are required to protect it with appropriate safeguards.
Changing your choices
You can change your mind at any time, including withdrawing consent you’ve already given. , or use the cookie button in the bottom-left corner of any page.
We remember your choices for 6 months, and then ask you again. If you withdraw consent, we remove the cookies those services set on our website.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings. If you block all cookies, some parts of the website, such as the maps and the contact form, may not work.
Records of your consent
The law asks us to be able to show that you gave consent. So when you make a choice, we keep a record of it: which cookies you allowed, when, and the wording you were shown.
Each record is linked to a random ID stored in your cookie choices, which you’ll find at the bottom of the cookie settings window. We do not store your name, IP address or any other details that identify you. Records are deleted automatically 18 months after they’re made.

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we start using a new service. This policy was last updated on 5 November 2026.
